Of all the years using gyms I have never experienced a company so openly aggressive about having a cash first customer service last phylosophy (once they have you trapped into a contract). The work force are demotivated because the PT's are treated like work placement cleaners when on shift (even though paying high rent). Managers in the club start on 16k basic with unrealistic targets and constant daily conference calls (they should be out on the gym floor). Sales proccess is horrendous, miss leading at best, deceiving at worst . No email with contract , no clear explaination of binding terms and conditions etc.
The other major problem I found was the other gym users. The cheap as chips marketing strategy attracts the most aggressive unfriendly territorial people who no nothing of gym etiquette.
