A couple of years ago Virgin Mobile put up their monthly tariffs by about £4 across the board, quite steep if you were a light user, but a least they included "free" insurance in the package, but no option to opt out and save the premium. Well a couple of months ago I had cause to make a claim and they had increased the excess from £25 to £75, which makes it not worth claiming. I raised a formal complaint with the insurers who took ver 4 weeks to say 'tough we make the rules' I then took the complaint to Virgin Mobile and a month later I'm still waiting for a solution and they keep ducking the big questions.
I'll be taking the case up with both ombudsmen and take my £100 a month business to someone who might make an effort, I hear Three are pretty good.
