“Should change the company name to Drivehappier, maybe?”

written by andyslot on 12/07/2014

A story that many previous hirers will aspire to..
How many times have you visited a counter in the airport, handed over your money and then been sent to another venue to collect your barely road legal and eventually, problematic hire car? After 5 years, we are still awaiting a refund for the days lost and costs of taxis from one previous hire company.
Look, it's THIS simple....
You take one look at ANY of Drivalia's vehicles (which you can in Alicante, as the whole operation is conducted from one site) and you are immediately instilled with an air of confidence that whatever vehicle you choose for your vacation, is only going to be enhanced by its "fit for purpose" status, throughout.
I've only had one little niggle in all the time we've chosen Drivalia as our now, ONLY choice of vehicle hire companies and on reflection, had I just ASKED about an under inflated tyre upon collection, rather than assume that it was maybe a "low profile" version and dismissed what may have been a problem, EVERYTHING else has been PERFECTION.
Another part of the arrival agenda at Alicante, now makes me smile with an air of self indulgent smugness, as we filter past the long, long queues of disgruntled hirers at the airport desks, whilst in the meantime, we take the lift down to level -2 and invariably, the mini bus is already awaiting us for the short journey to the office for the short paperwork episode and departure. I calculate that by the time we are driving past Benidorm on the AP7, the last party in that airport hall queue we cast a wry grin at on our way to the bus, is STILL there and getting even more frustrated with the pandemonium in front of him. ;-)
Vacations are supposed to be stress free events eh??
Do yourself and your blood pressure a favour,, book wisely!
