“Paying for nothing”

My Dog has had to have a castration due to one of his testicals being retained hes 10 months old I was told by the vets when he was much younger that he might have to have this done and to come back at 10 months so we did. We have had our policy with petplan since our dog was 12 weeks old we got him at 9/10 weeks and done some shoping around and went with petplan. We knew that castration by choice wasnt covered but he needed this treatment due to the retention on advice of our vets as this could make him poorly. Petplan have refused to cover our dog for this treatment so were stuck with a £250+ vets bill thanks for taking our money for 7 months and not looking after our pet ..... Weve been robbed!
