“Our Experiance was mixed”

My experience with FASTCARhire. I did have some minor/major issues with hiring a car through FASTCARHIRE but eventually, they did sort the problems, so I would have to say, I would use them again but be more aware the next time.

My story: Booked the car as their website offered the cheapest option of the entire search and book agency car hire websites. Remember that they are only the booking agent and not the hirers, similar to hotel booking engines so don’t think these are your hirer they are NOT. They offered a no excess insurance option, as this is often used now as extra revenue rasing by the actual car hire companies after you have left the country. So be aware of this when taking a car back get clearance before you leave your car, or better still, do not accept any car hire that has a local insurance extra for damages attached to its insurance cover.

When my receipt and docket came though it showed up a shaving the excess, I contacted the telephone number on FASTCARHIRE website which directed me to yet another booking agency, however they could not find my booking as it transpired FASTCAR for this booking never used this add on agency. So no telephone contact to sort the problem. I then emailed them and received an answer by the next day, saying that they would contact the supplier and get them to issue a new docket and upon receipt of the new docket they would reissue my pick-up dockets. True to their word they did sort it and eventually all went well. My advice is don’t give up if you have problems with FASTCAR they did respond to me and they did sort out the difference between their booking conditions to that shown on the actual car hire companies docket. All good in the end.
