“take your chance”

My first experience was great. Club arrived in great shape and shipping was quick.
My second experience has been brutal. I ordered a club on June 21st, paid for on same day. 3 days go by and club hasn't shipped yet. Day 4 I notice that package 1 was cancelled and are now processing package 2. I email and ask what happened to package 1. They reply the next day and say they had a 'problem with the inventory but since have fixed that and the order should ship out later today'. 2 days later I check on the shipping status and notice that package 2 was still being processed. I email once again and ask what the hold up is. I get a reply that the item is out of stock and that they have no idea when/if they will get it. Im having a hard time trying to figure out how you can sell an item that you don't have in stock, then when questioned, say it is in stock and will be shipped out, when in fact you never had the item in stock but continued to lie and say it is on its way. On July 1st, another email is sent and I finally get customer service to admit that they don't have it in stock and may never have it. I am offered a similar club in 'mint' condition that was listed at a slightly higher price in exchange for the one I ordered. I agree to accept this club. It is now July 8th and I don't have the club yet. It says that it is it transit and will arrive on July 10th. Who knows what shape the club will actually be in when it eventually does arrive.
I'm not sure why GlobalGolf simply didn't tell me that the club was not in stock instead allow me to order it (knowing it wasn't in stock) and then lead me on to believe it was. I'm sure I would still be waiting on my original order to be processed if it wasn't for me pressing the issue and contacting them several times. I'm also not totally confident that my money would have been refunded quickly or at all if I would have chosen that option. I'm sure GlobalGolf thinks they are making things right by sending me a supposedly more expensive club(to be determined), but the lies, numerous emails and long wait for the replacement item to be shipped wont have me returning as a customer.
If you can live with an order that shows up on time and is as described(my 1st experience with GlobalGolf) or the experience I am having right now(my 2nd experience with GlobalGolf), that feel free to do business with them. For me, it's not worth the hassle.
