I failed my first M2 two years for several reasons: I had just bought a vespa and done the CBT and tried to get the M1 & 2 done a month after that. The result was appalling: bad positioning on the lane, not following indications, bad observations.
I went to North London Motorcycle Training after a friend commented to me about how much she liked the training centre and how much she appreciated the comments that her instructor, Pedro, gave to her.
I have no words to say how great Pedro is. Imagine a person that has the gift of teaching. I am a very visual person so any verbal lecturing is, basically, an enormous effort to absorb the information. But what Pedro has in the top case? A white board and pens! All the doubts about roundabouts, timing and directions of life savers were simply gone!
Being a foreigner (and tense on the day of the test) , not understanding what the examiner said used to put me in a state of "panic room": no information would get into my eyes/brain anymore. Once again Pedro used his teaching abilities to recommend the best and safest approach to react to this problem.
Today I did my M2 again, I failed but it was the silliest mistake possible and totally my fault (waited way too long to respond to the green light - what was I thinking?!?). The examiner told me that if wasn't for the traffic light problem, I would have passed because my driving was spot on (an old lady using a waling stick started crossing a 40mph road and I managed to do the safest procedure and allow the old lady to cross the road - how random was that?!?).
I will be waiting my 10 working days to re-do my test again and certainly will go again with Pedro and the North London Motorcycle Training.
