Another epic movie. Tom Hanks's role is perfect as the platoon leader in this WW2 movie.
Among the best parts is the landing at Omaha beach on D-Day, and, at the start, Veteran (Private) Upham remembering the war grave of his commanding Captain (played by Tom Hanks).
Fighting scenes are pretty realistic (and graphic) so it fits in with the setting of a WW2 theme (let's face it, WW2 was NOT all fun war games).
This is a remarkable film that you never get bored of, and will watch again & again.
