“If I could give them 0 stars I would....appalling”

I chose Animal Friends insurance as I like their ethos and seemed to provide good cover for Horse insurance. A small and fair exclusion was applied to my policy after vetting, 2.5 years claim free and unfortunately I had to place a claim with Animal Friends.In that 2.5 years it seems they have lost thei insurance based marbles! Whilst payment was made, a letter swiftly followed outlining a BLANKET exclusion for all skin conditions, based on treatment of one bee sting. Despite numerous calls and letters from my vet (by the way I am happy to accept a REASONABLE exclusion, based on the area of the body perhaps, or the treatment of trauma to skin) Animal Friends maintain that they know better than a professional and will exclude forthwith anything connected to the skin disease.....clearly a MASSIVE area of the body and totally outrageous as they have no proof it was a disease of the skin...in fact swabs came back clear. DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGEPOLE!!!!!
