After several days of research my wife decided a Horn Sewers Vision table was the best item for her new sewing room.
Internet searches showed this shop offering the best deal, delivery about 2 weeks.
I knew Horn shipped direct to the customer so rang and spoke to the manager who took my order and credit card details.
He said Horn would contact me a week before delivery to confirm date and time.
I heard nothing for 2 weeks so rang to chase order. Promised a call back from the manager but never happened.
My wife rang a couple of days later and a lady took some details and promised a call back; you guessed it, no call.
I called Horn to check they had received our order which they had but they were waiting for "confirmation" of something - I suggest payment??
Anyways, I decided to cancel the order at Sewing World.
I called to tell them and get a refund.
It took several calls and emails finally threatened legal action.
After nearly 4 weeks from placing my order, I did eventually speak to a very helpful lady who promised to get their accounts department to deal with it and she rang back the next day to confirm it was happening.
I have today received this refund on my credit card.
Please don't give this shop any money unless you are there in person.
