The settees were slightly sticky to touch when they arrived. As I had asked for them to be scotch guarded I thought it must be that and that once out of the polythene they would be ok. Not so . They became soiled straight away.
I complained to marks and spencer and they sent out someone to look and report. He was hopeless, obviously being paid by them he was on their side as soon as he came in. He said the dirt was from our clothes, ( there are just two of us in our sixties ). We have another suite in our other room which we have had for twelve years and is immaculate. He agreed, but still wrote a report in their favour.
I complained to marks and spencer and was told his word is final and there is no appeal
I have since complained again in writing twice and have not even had the curtesy of a reply
NEVER BUY FURNITURE FROM MARKS AND SPENCERS
