“Pleasantly surprised”

After reading some negative reviews of Easirent Vehicle Rental, I was a bit apprehensive about the service I was going to receive, but I must say I was very impressed with the whole set-up at the Heathrow Airport branch. Their office is at a nearby hotel, but the company pay for the cost of the hotel shuttle from the airport to their office, which saved us a few quid. The staff were pleasant and polite and explained everything fully to me. As I didn't need their extra insurance (because any loss of excess was covered by my travel insurance), I was prepared to have to lodge a deposit with them from my credit card to cover the excess. I can see that anyone not prepared for that might have found it a bit of a shock. I took the car back, after a month. Again, the staff were pleasant and polite. I'd read about some people who'd said they'd been charged excessive amounts for minor damage. As I took it back undamaged, this didn't affect me, but it did occur to me that, as the small dents and scratches that were noted when I originally picked it up had obviously got there over a period of time, that any money charged to previous hirers obviously wasn't being used to repair the damage! Anyway, I was happy with the service I got and was particularly impressed that, without being asked, they offered to take us back to the Airport, saving us the cost of the hotel shuttle again. All in all, good value for money and good service.
