Where to begin? I'm just so pleased with the results. I have been a Vanquis customer for over 3 years and have been using their card for purchases to short term cash withdrawals. If I couldn't afford to pay off the balance in full, then I would pay back within three to four months at the most. My job has been stable enough to make borrowing less risky, in terms of repayments. I did the same with Capital One and now I have a 3 out of 5 overall credibility status with Onecall credit bureau. I asked Vanquis politely to close my account once I had reached £3000 credit limit. Capital One have set my limit to £1500. From £200 which was over 3 years ago. I'll probably close that account too since I'm getting a cheaper deal with Barclaycard balance transfer. So now that I'm on a good role, next step will be a mortgage. Vanquis really was worth paying the high interest rate because they helped me bounce back into the mainstream lending market. So now I can pick and choose a competitive card or loan. Thanks Vanquis and Capital One.
