An Enterprise hire car was arranged for me by the body shop currently carrying out repairs to my own personal vehicle as they're own fleet of courtesy cars was unavailable.
After being collected on a Saturday (good) we checked around the car at Enterprise Salisbury for any damage from previous renters. The car was parked with its rear end up against a wall making checking the rear for scuffs and dents difficult. To make matters worse, the car had been recently and poorly washed leaving plenty of swirl marks that could have been mistaken for damage. Because of this, the man checking the car and filling out the form put the car down as undamaged.
The following Wednesday I returned the car to Enterprise Bournemouth where, to my surprise, I was informed that the car had a scuff to the rear bumper. As it wasn't that centre's car they couldn't deal with it but told me Salisbury would be in contact.
After they tried calling during my work hours, I finally got hold of Enterprise Salisbury today (Saturday 28/06/2014) after finding they had debited £750 from my credit card, pushing me over my credit limit.
I was told the money couldn't be refunded then and there to prevent further charges from my bank as they can't deal with complaints on a Saturday. Now I have to wait until Monday despite me being the customer.
Satisfaction? Zero.
