We arrived to a resort in Mexico, only to learn that BookIt hadn't made our reservation, or paid for our stay. Our family had to wait in the lobby for over 3 hours as I made multiple international calls to BookIt. I was disconnected several times, and had to wade through an automated computer telephone system before I could speak with a live person. Supervisors wouldn't get on the telephone to speak with me.
Finally the advisor got on the line and said there was a mix-up, and BookIt would pay the next day. They didn't.
Iberostar had to make multiple calls to BookIt over the next 5 days, as did I. BookIt finally paid the bill 2 hours before we departed, taking them 6 days. Not a relaxing vacation.
It is difficult to find email addresses for BookIt executives. If you don't take my advice and end up using BookIt, you may need this contact information to complain; but don't expect them to do anything.
