“avoid at all cost!”

written by Kolten137 on 20/06/2014

I've been a member at Pure Gym Enfield since it opened several months ago. Its supposed to be a cheap way to use the gym, and it is, if you go at midnight. That's the only time you can use any equipment. There are so many members that there's no chance of getting on anything at any time from 4-8pm. Not only are there too many members for the amount of equipment but members give their entry codes to others who get in for free, or two people get through the entry pods together. Many people there are using the equipment but not paying and those of us who are paying cant get on it. The classes are always fully booked a week in advance so unless you book at midnight 7 days before you wont get on. However this doesn't bother me because the classes are very poor. Its just a free for all. The spinning instructors give you no instruction and the pump class has a few tracks playing over the hour and the instructor makes the class up as she goes along. All lower body exercises, no upper body. The Pure Fit class and boot camp are the only ones worth going to. The lockers have been broken into so there are notices up telling you not to leave valuables in them. I've started going at 6am to avoid the ghetto atmosphere that greets you in the evenings. The only reason im still there is because i'm moving house in 6 weeks so cant join another gym. You will regret joining this gym unless you can go early morning or after 9pm.
