“Simply TERRIBLE”

I called Sheila's Wheels on behalf of my close friend who had just received her latest renewal quote.

The premium was extremely high and an increase on the previous year's policy, despite my friend's maximum no claims of 13 years. Naturally, we were curious to understand why the premium was so high compared to competitors found via Compare the Market.

To call Sheila's Wheels renewals dept. you have to pay for the call which, to me is totally wrong. The agent I spoke to was pleasant enough but, on hearing my explanation and questions as to why they were so expensive, provided absolutely no alternatives in terms of policy quote; basically, he gave the impression he couldn't care less..........take it or leave it; so, we left it and opened a new policy with a competitor - whom we could call on a 0800 free phone number, and who did the same deal for £130 LESS. Needless to say we shall never use this company again.
