DHL in India is not aware of basic customs duty rate at all!!! They have zero info when it comes to submitting data in EDI of customs. All they are upto is fast clearance so that shipment is out of customs no matter if the duty levied is equal to the cost of product. Customer service cell and their reps have no clue about customs duty regime nor the exchange rate.

They are completely illiterate when it comes to knowledge of clearance in customs. Everything is charged highest upto 30%
