“Works flawlessly”

I have been closely watching Metro Bank for some time now. Having become totally disillusioned with HSBC I wanted to get away from the "Big Four". I do all my banking online and very rarely needed to go into a branch. This means that living in Leicestershire I am outside the Metro Bank's current area. So I travelled down to Milton Keynes which really isn't that far.

My experience there was excellent. I was treated very personally from the moment I entered the store, this is the sort a service which has been missing in banks for many years. In HSBC you are either told to the phone the Call Centre all get pointed to another machine, very difficult to speak to a real person. Metro Bank makes a big change to this

I did have some special requirements that normally would not come about. HSBC was never able to meet this. The adviser I saw in the Metro Store did need to speak to the manager and within a few minutes everything was okay. Because of the personal nature of these documents I can't give you the full details. From then on it was smooth going. I was also impressed that everything was doublechecked with another staff member as well as with myself. My card was issued and I assigned a pin number. It was then tested into an ATM to make sure everything was working correctly.

The online banking which I depend on works without a hitch. It is simple and straightforward to use. Despite what some people have said I have no problem at all with the site loading it is not a cluttered slight like many of the other banks.

Overall I'm very happy. I think the only reason we are seeing so many negative comments is because most satisfied customers do not have a need to write a review. It is like the reviews the logistic companies, people only write review when they have had a bad experience. At times something will go wrong with who have a you are dealing with but I feel confident that Metro Bank will sort out these difficulties.
