“Patchy disaster, ended up having to use another brand!”

I've been decorating for more years than I care to remember and used many types of paint and different brands and this is the worst paint I have ever used. The paint Laura Ashley Hedgerow, matt emulsion. Beautiful colour, if only it would dry one shade. When you first apply this paint you think it looks OK, until it dries and I was left with a blotchy, patchy mess of a mix of blue green and a yellow green finish amongst the general colour. I have never had a problem like this before and no matter how much the cans were mixed it made no difference, I certainly couldn't recommend this paint based on this experience and I wouldn't consider buying this brand of decorating products again. This became an expensive disaster in our house, which ended up costing us twice as much as it should have done to complete the job given having to purchase a different make of paint to paint over it. Never again will I use this product, two coats were given and to test, one wall was given three coats and it didn't improve at all. It was used to cover pale cream coloured walls which were painted with a matt emulsion. We purchased three cans and all the cans had the same problem. We also purchased four cans of two other colours of this brand of paint to use in another room, they were not used they were returned to the store, we were not going to take the risk! My conclusion, no amount of mixing sorted this out, there had to be a fault with these three cans we purchased, reading some of the other reviews it seems we are not the only people that have had this problem.
