“Ots travel services-Do Not Use- absolutely useless!”

Awful, awful company - 21/2 hours late for meet and greet- rude customer services and fed a pack of lies by the phone representative- do not use

After waiting 20 minutes I tried to call the driver number given on
the journey details- but after several attempts couldn't get through,
so spoke to an advisor at ITS who after laughingly telling me he wasn't
there because I'd booked it for the following day- then realised her
mistake and said he would be there and to wait....

After 20 minutes I still couldn't get hold of anyone on the driver
number, so spoke to Nikki again who advised he would be a further 5
minutes- these passed and still no driver so I again spoke to Nikki
who said she would call the company and find out what was happening
and would call me back. I ended up calling her back as I hadn't heard
anything after 5 minutes- to be told that the driver was running late
from his last job and was 20 minutes away.

After 20 minutes still no driver- I had now been waiting for an hour.
I finally managed to get through to the number given in the journey
details as the driver's number- it was not the driver, but the company
he worked for-"Diplomat Cheuffers" they advised that the driver was
over 20 minutes away and that he had been pulled over by the police
for speeding- which was why he was late, as you can imagine this did
not instill any thoughts of safety for the coming journey and I'm sure
he wouldn't have been pulled over for a whole hour....?
They advised that the driver would call me shortly to give me an update.

I was offered a refund to cover the cost of coffee and breakfast while
I waited for the driver by Ash at Diplomat Cheuffers- not sure how
I would have claimed this back- or why I would have wanted coffee when
I needed to get some sleep and be at work in 5 hours? He then texted
me a hotmail address in which to contact him for the refund- surely
this should be done through a professional company address? This makes
me query the validity of his offer, and I'm not about to start e-mailing
him on his personal e-mail address!

The driver finally called at 1.25 and said he was over 20 minutes away...
Meaning he wouldn't be with me until at least 1.45am and he finally
turned up at 1.55am and I had been waiting 1 1/2 hours for the driver
to "meet and greet" me - which I payed additional money for!

This service is appalling- why did I not have the driver's number?
Why did I have to call around various different people to get to the
bottom of where the driver was, how long he would be, and if he was
even coming?
Why was I not advised that the taxi was running late and as a young
woman why was I was left hanging around Gatwick in the early hours
of the morning on my own?
