Sainsbury's pet insurance is a total sham and I would advise that you avoid at all costs. At a time when I needed compassion and understanding all I have received from Sainsbury's is total lack of customer service, rudeness to the point that they have made me cry and they try any which way they can to avoid paying you. I have been waiting for nearly 2 months for a decision on a claim that is not a reoccurrence and I have never claimed before, but they are making things up to avoid paying me. They have blatantly lied to me, told me they have spoke to my vet (when they haven't) and they never ring back when they promise. It really has been an absolute nightmare and I can't believe that they are allowed to get away with treating people with such disdain.
