“Value for Money and Helpful Customer Service”

My wife and I regularly travel to and from the UK from overseas and have used multiple different car hire companies however on my most recent trip I used Green Motion located at Bristol Airport.

The booking process was done online and was very straight forward with us opting for a category 1G car which was to take us to Scarborough and back to Bristol amongst other things.

On the day of collection I was ready to collect the car early so called ahead and was advised that the car was ready and I could collect early, I then asked whether this would mean I would need to return early however they confirmed it would not be a problem to return at the original time as per my booking.

I knew the location of the office was not at the airport however they personnel were ready to collect me from the airport to collect the car as soon as I called them. I must say their location is better than a lot of other airport car hire locations some of which require a 10 pound taxi fare to reach.

When collecting the car, the staff did a thorough inspection of the car pointing out items that I did not even see. This level of checking gave me confidence that they knew their stock and were not going to make a claim at a later date for some damage which was missed at the checking out stage. In addition to the checking the staff gave me advice on the car’s range on the fuel provided which helped me manage my fuel expenditure much better.

Furthermore the car provided was a 14 plate diesel 308 which included sat nav as standard which was great for the long drive to scarbourgh. In my experience most other rental companies would charge extra for sat nav not with GM.

When coming to return the car I decided to extended my rental by an extra day. Again all it took was 1 phone call and confirmation that the same price would apply and that was that, a day later than planned I returned the car paid the extra days fee and closed the account.

Overall my experience was excellent and hassle free despite my long journey and request for extended duration.

I would not hesitate to recommend green motion Bristol for car hire again and intended to use them again.
