Worst commerce experience of my life. Ordered a norco sight mtb bike but then cancelled the order to uograde to a more expensive lapierre zesty at £2k. Was promised the bike would be in store 2 weeks ago, however Evans then insisted I paid the full deposit for the new bike before I could view it in store. I explained that they hadn't refunded my deposit from the first bike and that's where the ordeal started. I have been on the phone every single day to these guys, being passed from pillar to post with false promises daily. Never had so many people promise to phone me back then 'forget' to call back.
Apparently they are going to issue me a £10 gift card for being "patient" while they work out how to refund the deposit back into my account. I have absolutely no idea if I will ever get this money back and for this reason I will be contacting trading standards to see if anything else can be done.
With the exception of one chap called Mills from the call centre, who had the decency to give me a courtesy call one day, everyone else is completely useless.
To top it off, my intention was to purchase the 2k lapieere zesty once this mess is sorted out! How could anyone possibly trust this company after this ordeal which could have simply been resolved!
Still no refund! Terrible customer service!!!
