Took out a policy on price comparison site , admiral phoned me within minutes of me getting quote although (i checked afterwards) i had ticked no contact , seemed nice chap very helpful asked about husbands car could they offer a quote on his car told him not sure when renewal due sometime June , so he did a quote and dated it 1st June JUST A QUOTE ONLY A QUOTE. The chap said he would contact me 2 weeks prior to 1/6/14 to just to go over details and to get actual renewal date and to see if i was then happy to proceed. GUESS WHAT no contact until 26/5 email received stating how my husbands car was going on my policy on 1st June , phoned them immediately got bloody nowhere all they had to do was admit a mistake and remove him as he is insured elsewhere no they decided to really really annoy me , according to their records they sent documentation on 11/5 , i received nothing anyway was getting no where after a lengthy phone call and stated i want to talk to someone. Higher and wanted my policy to be be cancelled with immediate effect. He went off , no one senior could take call so as a gesture of goodwill they are not going to charge me anything for cancelling and are refunding me a overpayment and I have gone elsewhere . I WOULD NEVER NEVER USE THEM AGAIN BAD bad customer service.
