I went on 22nd May with the family which included 2 kids 8 and 9. This park is such a pale comparison to Disney and Universal. The entrance lacks any feel of excitement. It's a slight upgrade from Gullivers Land, which believe me is the pits. There just is no magic anywhere. The staff try their best, but the whole place is so boring. The rides in the main are dated, there is just no feeling of joy anywhere in the park.
But the worst thing about Legoland is the FOOD. It is disgusting, it is grossly overpriced, it is TERRIBLE.
£7.95 for a Jacket Potato, that looked like it had been run over by a car. Tasteless Cheese and cheap beans slopped on top, and a saggy piece of salad on the side. It was AWFUL. A BLT sandwich at £3.25 that was stale and tasteless. Coffee charged at 40% more than Costa or Starbucks. Kids meals for £5.25 - tastless, boring and totally unacceptable.
