“Fantastic customer service”

My 20 year old son is upgrading from a 600cc bike to 1000cc superbike. He has been riding since he was 16yrs old and has had a full uk bike licence for 2 years with 4 years NCB. The only insurance we could find that he could afford was third party and that was coming out at about £300-£400 with a £900 excess. WE spoke to MCE because they are his current insurer and they were finding it difficult to find an underwriter who would cover him. A day or two later in the evening I had a phone call from a customer services manager at MCE asking how we had got on with my sons insurance, and when I told her the problems we were having she asked me if I would like her to have a look what she could do. Obviously I said yes, within minutes she came up with a quote for £104 for the remainder of his insurance cover, up to mid August, and an estimated future quote from Mid august for a year of £430 comprehensive with a £600 excess!!! The next day she phoned me back and said she had managed to get £20 knocked off for being messed about initially, so he got it for £70 in the end. Absolutely unbelievable. I cannot believe what a fantastic service we got from this company, absolutely fantastic. My son is over the moon. Thank you to the young lady in customer services at MCE,I can't use your name unfortunately , but you know who you are. Your company is lucky to have such a fantastic manager.
