“Efficient Fast Service - 10/10”

I was so impressed with the service that Halifax gave that I had to write this review today.

I am a first time buyer and was in the process of buying my first property.

I initially applied for a mortgage with NatWest Bank. After repeatedly requesting information and leaving me waiting for over 30 days, time was beginning to go against me. I have to note that this was a very stressful and worrying time as I thought that I would lose the property that had been reserved.

I then had to go with my option B which meant applying for another mortgage but this time with Halifax (Tuesday).

The initial process went through smoothly and I was given a decision in principal.

When I got home the money for the valuation had already been taken and the appointment booked for two days later (Thursday).

Come Monday, in the post I was given a full mortgage offer.
