I purchased a pair of trainers at a good price, but after a month there was a problem with the heel on the right shoe and it started creaking/slipping. I got a friend to try the shoes on and he confirmed that there was a noticeable problem, so I sent the shoes back to get a refund or replacement. They said they do not do replacements, so I purchased a pair of the same trainers before they went out of stock. I got an email a few days later saying that there was an error on the site and the replacement trainers I ordered weren't actually in stock. This was fine, but after they had received the faulty product they claimed to have found nothing wrong with them and refused to give me a refund.
Although it is a matter of £40 I am have taken the issue to BBC watchdog and if footasylum still refuse to recognise the fault I will have to take this issue further.
