Never thought that my holiday could be almost ruined in such a away! We booked one of the apartments in Rome in the end of September 2013 for the 9th - 13th of May 2014. In one or two days we received an e-mail giving us the adress and the mobile phone number of the person whom we were to contact on our arrival to Rome. Also we were told to have the necessary amount of money to give it to that very person. OK,no problem! We were looking for to our holiday because before going to Rome we were going to Portugal for 10 days.
So we were having really great time travelling around Portugal when 11 hours before the flight to Rome we got an e-mail from Pillow Apartments informing us of the fact that our booking had been cancelled!
Just imagine, we're staying in a foreign country and the next day we're to fly to once again a foreign counrty without nowhere to stay at!!!
Thanks God we had a laptop and there was Wi-Fi in our apartment in Lisbon and we managed to book a fantastic villa near Via Appia Antica!
The "wonderful" managers of the Pillow Apartments just informed us that there was some problem with our credit card and they simply cancelled our booking. And that's really strange because before that moment we had used the card a lot (booked hotels and apartments, rented cars )and there had never been any problems. Of what we immedaitely informed the Pillow Apartments but got no reply!
Why couldn't they check the card immediately, why did they make us feel so stressed?!!!!
For me and my family there's only one explanation. These unfair and careless managers decided to get some profit by having cancelled our booking which was made long time ago and to sell it to somebody else at a higher price of course cause it's the peak of the holiday season in Rome now.
NEVER WOULD I RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO DEAL WITH THIS ROTTEN FIRM SITUATED IN BARCELONA!!!!!!
