“Unfulfilled order”

I ordered a pair of glasses for my daughter. They came no problem. I ordered a pair for me. A few days later I got a notice they were out fo stock and I could reorder. I wanted to speak to someone since the new frames I chose were less expensive and I wanted to determine how the transaction would work. I tried to call the number provided. It was a recording letting me know they don't answer the phone because they're too busy. I couldn't leave a message or anything. Just, bye, see ya!

I emailed them back. Someone responded fairly promptly. So, I placed the second order. Again, a few days later I checked the site and they were out of stock. I sent an email asking what the problem was. They told me not to worry, everything was ok. A few days after that I received an email saying it was out of stock. I asked for a refund. They hemmed and hawed a bit, but finally gave me a refund.

This was a terrible customer service experience for me because with today's technology, their site hold reflect their current inventory and not let me order something out of stock. The second piece is that to have people answering emails with no problem is a pitiful alternative to speaking with someone live and in real time.
