“Rubbish bank of the year!!!”

Applied for a remorgage over the phone. Credit checks, affordability checks and house fit their criteria all checked and fine. Morgage in principle arrives and they take £195, countrywide call to make an appointment to value house, all fine house valued and ticks the box with regard to LTV. I was only asked about outgoings on my application in other words what I need to pay out on each month. I was never asked about overdrafts and theirfore I wasn't given the chance to disclose these as I would have, these were used for doing up the house as I bought the house in the credit crunch and required extensive modernisation. I sent in all supporting documentation to support income outgoings ect. Call from a rude customer services woman telling me the application had been declined due to overdrafts!!! If overdrafts are that critical in the process I should have been asked when making the initial application and before they took £195 from me!!! Some completely ignorant rude customer services woman calls me when I make the appeal and tells me she went back in the telephone conversation and that so was asked, WHY was I, it's not even an outgoing, he only asked me about outgoings personal loans credit cards , store cards!!! She was the most dogmatic ignorant horrible person I have had to deal with sometime!!! 8 years internal credit history with this bank and appalled to say the least. BEAWARE STAY AWAY THEY ARE HORRIBLE T O DEAL WITH!!! GO TO A REAL BANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
