“Terrible online customer service - Advisors...”

This bank is terrible. When calling the online helpdesk, or "Advisors" as they are known - they cannot be understood, speaking with northern or at worst deep scottish accents. I understand that there are regional differences in dialects, but to expect someone from the south of England to recognise scottish english is ridiculous. It has cost me hours of wasted time on the telephone. One "advisor" actually hung up on me. Very disappointed - After 50 years of banking with this bank I finally gave up and withdrew my accounts and savings.
Also the fact that each advisor gave me different advice does not do anything for confidence in this bank. They are slow to follow-up on requests, they actually took 6 months to register and confirm my change of address!!! Now how slow is that?
Time wasting and costly administration is inherent in this bank, I would not advise anyone to do business with them.
