Unsolicited Letter of Commendation – Elevating Mobility Systems Limited

My wife and I have just bought a “Flow 2” stair lift from EMS Ltd. I wish to commend the company on their highly professional conduct throughout the selection, purchase and installation of this stair lift.

We “dropped in” without notice, on their really excellent “wheelchair friendly” Baldock Showroom on 5 February 2014 (Herts SG7 6XL). We were immediately made comfortable, and having explained my wife’s need for assistance, we were able to try out the wide range of lifts on display, and with excellent guidance and advice, settled on the Flow 2 as being most appropriate. The salesman /surveyor came to our house the next afternoon, took all the necessary measurements with a photographic survey, and accepted our bespoke designed order for processing with the manufacturer.

On the 7 March our stair lift was installed. The engineer was clearly very competent in his task, and had not a single problem to overcome, the kit of parts matched the survey perfectly, and the installation was completed single-handed in less than 3 hours. The installation is amazingly robust without excessive intrusion into the stair way. The automatic capabilities of the Flow seat unit enhance its usability and comfort to make it a real pleasure to use. My wife is absolutely delighted with it.

As a final confirmation of even the administrative excellence of this company, I received, by the next post, the receipt for my payment for the installation. Accordingly, I have no hesitation in recommending EMS to a potential stair lift buyer, and would strongly advocate a visit to their showroom at the earliest opportunity.
