“Smoke in the coach with Stagecoach”

Very well known problems about buses being late, rude drivers, littered buses etc. This time I was shocked as I could never believe in the incompetence of a bus driver if I would not see it by myself.
Young blokes were smoking in the vehicle. As I climbed down to alert the driver I saw a youngish man were telling this issue to the driver. I stayed on the lower deck since I could not stand cigarette smoke especially when it is high concentrated (bus windows were complete shut by that time). To my utterly surprise, bus driver did not go to check but kept driving and soon was handing it over to another driver. Another driver went upstairs later on, but nothing was done (they probably stopped smoking by that moment, could not say). I spent the rest of a longish journey in a freezing bus with open windows and turned on fan to keep all bad smells out. What a joke!
Was thinking about complaining to the company, but they cannot buy me health, can they? It is very disappointing as company has huge network of buses. Luckily, the Country Bus company operates where I need to travel usually, I decided to ban Stagecoach and move to them.
P.S. It was bus route 2 from Newton Abbot to Exeter and I really felt sorry for elderly people who were in the same bus. The only advice if such situation arises again - call the police straight away, they would show more concern.
