“The RyanAir of car insurance”

I found them on Comparethemarket.com decided to go with them. Just after I had entered debit card and pressed pay now, the asked further questions plus a load I had already answered. quotes goes up 330 (funny that). I pay and find the policy start date is that day, hour and minute, not the date I had given on Comparethemarket.com.

request change, they refuse and suggest I cancel policy and set up a new one (cost £26). By coincidence more or less the cost of double-running 2 insurers.

Then complaining virtually impossible.

Unaccountable, hidden extras merchants. i have no plans to renew with them.
I wish i had read these reviews and i would never have signed up.
