“Thrifty were Nifty :)”

I booked a car from Thrifty after going back and forward trying to sort out my flights to Oviedo in Spain. During flight out I was horrified to realise I had booked car hire from Oviedo instead of Santander airport. Worse thing was we had already offered a lift from Santander to Oviedo to a couple of friends of our daughters. How embarrassing! We waited a nail biting hour in the queue at the airport hoping there would be some way of getting a car and when we finally got served the lady on the desk not only apologised for our long wait but she couldn't have been nicer about our (my) mistake. No problem to change the car from the other airport and no extra charges either. Pleasant and helpful, efficient and polite all in all a treat to deal with. We returned the car a week later and she apologised again for our wait on arrival. Apart from the long delay when we first arrived I can't fault Thrifty I and would have no hesitation in recommending or using them again.
