“SHOCKING SALES TACTICS”

Received a call one Saturday saying that they were from Orange and wanted to discuss my upgrade options. I listened and said that I was interested in a deal.

They said they would email me details and send out the iPhone.

Shortly after this call I received a call from Orange (who were and still are my provider). They said that they hadn't called me and asked whether I gave out my Orange password to which I said I hadn't been asked for it!

I then tried calling back the number that appeared on my mobile but it rang then cut me off. I tried and tried. In the end I left it and decided that of any phone arrived, I would refuse delivery and send it back.

In the meantime, I agreed a far better deal with a far better iPhone direct with Orange.

On the day my new Orange phone was due to be delivered, I get a phone from E2!!! No emails, no other contact and they don't (I hope) have any bank details for me! I accepted delivery as I thought it was my other phone from Orange (which turned up about 10 minutes after the E2 phone).

I called them and looked at an account they sent up on the website. THE ADVISOR WAS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I have sent the phone back by special recorded delivery at a cost of £8 to me.

I am glad to say that my new shiny iPhone 5s is working perfectly from Orange (no upfront cost to me as loyal customer to Orange!!) and was a far better deal than what E2 were offering (iphone 4s)

So don't be fooled by the sales tactics. Don't be fooled when they say they are from your service provider.
