“Rip off”

I received flowers from my daughter for Mothers Day last Sunday and I could not beleive it when I opened the box. The really small bunch of lillies was pathetic. I knew my daughter would be horrified if she saw them so I contacted DEBENHAMS by email myself. They asked how many stems of lillies there were and how many palm leaves. I responded 4 lily stems, three palm leaves. They replied that this was as described on their website. I was really cross because each lily stem had one lily measuring 3 inches and a couple of buds on each measuring 1 and a half inches, I've never seen anything like it. I buy Lillies most weeks and two stems absolutely fills a vase with about 12 large lilies.
They agreed to sent me a replacement bouquet and apologized.
But I took them into my local DEBENHAMS in Canterbury to show them to a manager and, like me, they were apalled. They told me to complain about the next bouquet also if they were no better.
I would never order from them again and I have showed them to several neighbours who were also astounded that DEBENHAMS would think they were acceptable. They cost £24.99 and we're worth about £2.
Never order from Debenhams flowers.
