I was tested at Scrivens Opticians twice as they got the first measurement wrong and then I was referred to a consultant hence the 2 stars (a tick in the box). I was then told by a specialist the second measurement taken was wrong, this explained the difficulty I had with reading after receiving my new glasses, this left me with no choice but to revert back to my old glasses. I went back and explained this to my opticians and they said this was normal and what was shocking was they advised there was no guarantee the new spectaculars will improve my reading and said the reason was because I did not opt for the thin lenses. They wrongly accused me of going with the thick lenses but they never gave me a choice and this was due to my age had I been younger they would not have manipulated me like this. they took over 300 pounds from me and was not willing to improve my glasses which I was left to live with and a loss of 300 pounds. I cant believe people do not help the older generation and allow them to suffer.
