Most dreadful experience ever. 2 guys turned up with my new integrated dishwasher. 45 minutes later they inform me they cannot remove my old one and I need to get a builder in to dismantle my kitchen to gain access. I take a look and get it out in 3 minutes - what if this was an elderly person or similar who would actually go through with this request? I by the way am a commercial sales manager so have no talent in anything like this.
Anyway another 1.5 hours later they come and find me and say they have finished and are off. I suggest seeing their work before they go and find out that where they have fitted my old kitchen cabinet door to the new integrated washer they have drilled all the way through to the front in 3 places. They were obviously not going to let me know this before they left. I also noticed the door is not on straight slightly angled diaganolly to the left and with a large gap at the top. Anyway I send them away saying I will contact customer services at curry's.
This is where the dreadfulness starts (yes worst than my first rant). Curry's said they need to get a new engineer out to survey the damage. I have to wait 2 weeks before I have a Saturday free as am not taking a day off work for these idiots. They book them in for today (5th April) and could arrive between 7 and 11. At 10 my wife suggests I check texts and find one saying they are arriving between 3.30 and 7.30PM. I have to go out this afternoon so outraged contact curry's again. They confirm they are due in the afternoon and the woman previously spoken to should not have advised am or pm. Anyway after suggesting I get them back tomorrow and putting me on hold again tell me that in fact they can't do Sundays after all so I now have to wait till the 26th which is my next available Saturday.
I hate to think how much more misery they will put me through. I will never buy from curryscagain as a result and will use who I should have done so to begin with - John Lewis or in fact my next door neighbours 3 year old son who would have done a better job.
