“Avoid this company!”

I ordered 2 rugs in the sale. After 10 days, no rugs, I rang them up to be told that they had been dispatched and I would receive them on the Friday or Monday. After not receiving them after a couple of weeks, I checked my account on line only to find my order has been canceled without my notice. I rang them up furious and the advisor on the phone explained that they had all sold out. I asked why I had been told that they were on there way and why nobody had actually got in touch to say the order was canceled. I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager as the advisor was hopeless but apparently in the afternoon there are no senior staff! In fact the senior staff apparently only turn up in the morning for meetings and conference calls. The member of staff took my details and the following day another member of staff rang up and spoke with my husband, she promised me 2 medium weight combos instead of the heavyweight ones that I had ordered. Needless to say, I am still waiting, I still have not received my email to tell me that my order was canceled by Derby House and I no doubt will be left hanging on the phone again tomorrow whilst I try to deal with the situation. You have been warned this company is not reputable, the customer care is appalling and it is NOT the old Derby House that I bought from all those years ago in Newburgh. I would NEVER buy from them again I am disgusted!
