“Theft has a new name - 'SEATWAVE'”

I am in London - visiting from Brisbane Australia for my 40th birthday. I dealt with Seatwave's VIP section and subsequently with them on-line. I wanted 2 x tickets to the England vs Wales Six Nations Rugby game at Twickenham. Being my 40th I wanted the best seats in the house. I looked at Viagogo and a few other websites, but went with SEATWAVE because they had tickets in the L6 section. On the half way line and 1,500 pound per seat. I purchased on my credit card.

The day before the game SEATWAVE announced that in fact they did not have L6 seats - but in fact L26 seats. My protests included multiple emails - all ignored. The seating provided to me was available on their own website and other websites for 500 pound less per seat.

I wrote to SEATWAVE on 5 occasions. A short response turned up today indicating "sorry about that but we think the alternative seats were pretty good".

SUMMARY: 3,000 pound worth of seats was replaced with 2,000 pound seats by way of theft and deception. SEATWAVE do not honour their word or their guarantee.
