“Very dodgy site”

written by Stevestan on 07/03/2014

I have used virgin a lot over the lest few months and use to win, I know you are not suppose to win all the time and that suits me fine, it's gambling right. But after spending £700 with them and not getting anything I started to try and find out what the RTP (return to player odds). The problem was I couldn't find the information. So I contacted support, and they couldn't tell me or direct me to a site where the odds are displayed.

So I asked to open a ticket to try and find out, all I. Wanted was to find out the RTP which should be readily available on the site as set out by the rules of remote gambling.

A few days later I got a response saying they are still trying to find out what the odds are which surprised me as this kind of information should be easy to find and should be easily accessible to all customers.

Any way, a week has passed now and still no response to my query, it seems that either virgin games either don't know what the RTP is which I find very hard to believe as their profit margin depends on them knowing, or they have something serious to hide (which is what I think).

So I started to dig deeper and I looked into their terms and conditions only to find out they are breaking yet another rule set out by the government of Gibraltar for remote gambling. In their terms and conditions it clearly states that they can change the terms and conditions at any time without giving any notification.

Now this is extremely unfair to us fellow gamers, and if the terms were challenged then their case would not stand up in court.

Not only that, but they hide a lot of the terms and conditions by using a small Iframe so won't scroll down the box and read the terms, which again is breaking yet another rule.

I could go on, but I will cut to the chase, they are first to quote their terms and conditions, but with them hiding most of it and changing them when they like then who's to know what your rights are. I am taking my case further and want to take them to court over this, why you ask? It's because they do everything in there path to try and screw you over and after the massive amount of research I have done, I now have a case to put forward.

DO NOT BET WITH THIS CASINO, YOU MIGHT WIN FIRST TIME, BUT THAT WILL BE THE LAST. DODGY AS HELL. AND BRANSON DOESNT OWN THIS COMPANY HE SOLD IT TO GAMESY. GO TO JACKPOTJOY INSTEAD, THE ONLY CASINO THAT DOENST RIP YOU OFF.
