“Excellent Support”

I ordered and received an Olympus OMD EM1 camera at a price that was hugely better than anywhere else. Everything went smoothly - timely delivery and good order tracking information.Unfortunately and unusually there was a manufacturing problem with the camera (the 'function switch'did not work at all). I contacted Panamoz who agreed it sounded like a fault but asked me to check with Olympus support. I phoned Olympus who were very helpful, asked me to upgrade the firmware and do a factory re-set; reasonable things to request but made no difference. Olympus even offered to do a pick-up of the camera but I went back to Panamoz. They arranged prompt pick-up, return to Hong Kong, confirmed there was fault and immediately shipped a new replacement model which I have now received and appears to work fine. So Panamoz were excellent initially but I think it more impressive that they were good on the support when things went wrong. All contact was via email with the same person which was good. And the Olympus support team were super helpful too. I would certainly use the Panamoz route again.
