“Spring Training Baseball Tickets Giants/Angels”

written by Verde2060 on 06/03/2014

I ordered baseball tickets on the vivid website for a spring game Giants vs Angels in Scottsdale Az. It was the morning of the game and We live about 90 miles away and needed for the tickets to be downloaded to my computer and printed before we could start traveling to the ball park. My computer was locking up and causing problems. After an hour or so I was about to cancel everything. My wife arrived at home and suggested that we have the tickets sent to her laptop. I called Vivid and spoke to an advisor and explained that order 1664257 had arrived, but I could not print it out, and the game was starting in five hours. I wanted to cancel, but my wife convinced me otherwise and asked her if the order could be resubmitted and sent to her computer instead. She put us on hold and came back with a positive response. The tickets were sent to my wife's laptop and printed out perfectly. We rushed out the door and headed 90 miles to the game. Thank you! However it gets even better.

Two hours later we arrive at the game and we are ushered to our seats. Great seats at a fair price! A few minutes later another couple arrives and they have seats next to hours. They have season tickets to all the games as does everyone in the box section where we are seated. They are all friends and begin chatting with me and my wife. They ask where we are from, I reply and add that we are originally from Buffalo N.Y. The couple next to us says get out, we are from Buffalo too! They ask us where did we grow up, what neighborhood and schools that we attended? They stood up and asked what was my last name? I answered, the gentleman, and then he shouted out my first name. I was stunned and said,"Who are you?". He told me who he was and he turned out to be my best friend in high school and we had not seen each other in 46 yrs. we hugged and tears were flowing from the eyes of most of the people in the entire section of the stadium. If she had allowed me to give up on printing my tickets, this grand reunion would have been lost. I cannot comprehend the odds of this occurrence taking place , but thank you Vivid !!!
