I had an estimate to have a stair and hall carpet fitted. I did not get a full breakdown of what the separate charges were. I queried a charge of £29 delivery, for which the fitter does not receive and he collects the carpet. When I said I would collect it myself the reply was "we can not supply the carpet fitter then" also a charge of £35 as fitting stair carpet was a skilled job, but again the carpet fitter does not get this. Carpet Right make a profit of £64 for doing nothing. Have now gone to a different carpet shop and saved this £64.
