“Excellent all round.”

While visiting the Longcross Proving Ground yesterday my husband and I were impressed by the high standard of the venue. Greeting us on arrival a smiling, enthusiastic lady checked our documents and directed us to the registration point. Here a team of glamorous assistants checked his documents and driving licence. The food & drink outlet was well-managed and the toilet facilities were very clean.

We were transferred by a pleasant guy to the track where we met instructor, Ceila and the huge 40 ton truck she was using for instruction. Celia was a delight! A long-experienced HGV licence holder, she guided my husband through the controls and the techniques he would need, very clearly and calmly. I was in the passenger seat and could see close-up how much my husband enjoyed the experience of taking the truck through various manoeuvres . The only complaint he had was that the experience was over too soon!

This was a birthday gift to my husband.We would recommend the truck-driving experience without hesitation.
