We had to cancel our holiday at short notice due to illness and under advice from our GP. We notified Flexicover, who emailed the forms we needed to complete within a few minutes. We completed the forms and have had our claim settled within 3 weeks without any quibble whatsoever.
The member of staff who took the initial details was helpful and efficient.
When we telephoned after two weeks to enquire about progress, we were told that our claim had been reviewed and that ewe would receive settlement within four working days, which we did.
The only thing we feel could be improved is that after you have made your claim, it would be helpful if the company emailed the process and expected timeline for settlement. All we received was an acknowledgement of our claim and we were advised that as it was a busy time it would prioritised and processed as soon as possible. We were also encouraged not to send any email chasers as this might hold up our claim. We understand their need to prioritise, but a more users friendly response would have been appreciated.
