“Awful don't touch with a bargepole”

written by on 19/02/2014

Do not go near this company. I was miss sold. They told me that there was free installation. I switched from Virgin (who I'd never had a fault with in over 15 years. When they came to do the connection, the BT Openreach contractor left me with a phone line which wasn't working and told me it would come on overnight. I then called Unicom the next day to tell them my line wasn't working still, they kept telling me it would come on overnight. They then rebooked and Engineer to comeback and get the line working. However, because the Engineer said there was no fault on the line, but the phone wasn't working, although the very same phone then started working after he had fiddled with it. They then hit me with a charge of "£144 inc vat for the Engineers visit. Now two months later. My line has mysteriously stopped working again and I am too scared to allow them to log the call with Openreach in case they charge me again!!

So now, I have a business line, which I can't take business calls on as it's not working again, less than two months from the last issue. I was sold a feature which makes the lines (0845) and 0121 ring on different numbers and was told it was free, only to be told that it's chargeable after I had started the contract! DO NOT GO NEAR THEM WITH A BARGEPOLE!!
